Kirk Brothers Ford Lincoln Takes Drive One 4 UR Community to Greenwood Community Kitchen
Kirk Brothers Ford Lincoln has partnered with Greenwood Community Kitchen to offer Ford’s Drive One 4 UR Community program in an effort to raise up to $6,000.00 in funds to benefit the Greenwood Community Kitchen. The event will take place at Highland Park Shopping Center on October 10 from 8:00am – 6:00pm.
“Our Community has been fortunate to have the support of a business Leader like Kirk Brothers Ford Lincoln,” said Barbra Biggers, Greenwood Community Kitchen Board Member. “We are happy to partner with Ford for a program benefitting our charity and the people we serve.”
The Drive One 4 UR Community program was developed as a fun, engaging way to help charities raise money to support their programs and its needs. Ford and Lincoln dealerships partner with a local charity to conduct a test drive fundraising event. For every valid test drive completed, Ford Motor Company will donate $20 to the participating charities, up to $6,000.00.
“We’ve always believed in our community and the best way to demonstrate that is to support it in every way we can, starting with the needy,” said Kevin Evans, General Manager. “We have always felt a need to give back to our community,” said Evans. Evans also said they are asking everyone to bring canned goods to donate when they come test drive to fill up two truckloads of canned goods.
Drive One 4 UR Community has had great success since its inception in 2007, with thousands of test drives and dollars generated for charities through the program.
